SERVING Ammanford

Your Local Bathroom Flooring Installers in Ammanford

Bathroom flooring in Ammanford often needs careful planning around the floor that is already there. Old adhesive, previous plumbing work, uneven patches or changes at the doorway can affect the final result. Our installers inspect the existing surface before choosing the preparation method. That avoids treating every room as though it starts from the same base.

Sheldon Bathrooms Ltd uses its own installation team. If the project also involves tiling, plumbing, heating or bathroom furniture, the work can be coordinated under one plan. You get one company responsible for the agreed scope rather than several trades working to separate schedules.

Areas we serve around Ammanford include:

Ammanford & Betws
Tycroes & Capel Hendre
Saron & Penygroes
Llandybie & Blaenau
Gorslas & Cefneithin
Ammanford plus nearby communities by arrangement

What We Do in Ammanford

Our Bathroom Services in Ammanford

Bathroom flooring installation is often linked to other work in the room. Sheldon Bathrooms Ltd can coordinate related services so floor levels, wall finishes, sanitaryware, and heating are considered together. This helps avoid awkward joins or last-minute changes once the main installation is under way.

Full Bathroom Renovation

Planning a full refit? We can coordinate the room from strip-out or first-fix work through to flooring, tiling, furniture, and final fitting. Each stage is prepared for the next.

Shower Installation & Remodeling

For a new enclosure or walk-in shower, we consider drainage, tray height, surrounding finishes, and the finished floor level as one connected part of the room.

Bath to Shower Conversion

Replacing a bath with a shower changes more than the main fixture. We can plan the surrounding floor, wall finish, and access points so the conversion feels integrated rather than pieced together.

Bathroom Tiling (Walls & Floors)

Our bathroom tile installation in Ammanford covers careful setting out, suitable surface preparation, and neat cuts at room edges, corners, sanitaryware, or thresholds.

Wall Panel Installation

Wall panels offer an easy-care finish for selected bathroom areas. They can reduce grout lines around baths or showers while giving the room a clean, modern look.

Bathroom Flooring (Tiles & LVT)

Our bathroom flooring services in Ammanford include porcelain or ceramic tiles plus luxury vinyl tile suitable for bathrooms. We match the installation method to the condition of the base, the room layout, and the finish you choose.

Underfloor Heating

Underfloor heating works especially well beneath many tiled floors. We plan the floor build-up with the heating system so compatible materials are used from the start.

Spa Bath & Jacuzzi Installation

A spa bath or jacuzzi may affect plumbing routes, access and nearby floor finishes. We coordinate those details before the room is closed up.

Plastering

Removing old bathroom finishes can expose uneven or damaged wall surfaces. Our plastering work creates a sound base ready for the next stage.

Painting

Bathroom-suitable paint gives walls or ceilings a clean final finish once the main fitting, flooring, and tiling work are complete.

Bathroom Furniture Supply & Fitting

Vanity units, cabinets, and storage are positioned for everyday use. Floor finishes are planned to meet fitted furniture neatly.

24/7 Emergency Plumbing

An active leak can damage the floor beneath a bathroom before the problem becomes obvious. Urgent plumbing support can deal with the source before new flooring or finishes are fitted.

OUR Ammanford CREDENTIALS

Why Choose Us for Bathroom Flooring in Ammanford

A strong finish starts with the decisions made before the first tile or plank goes down. We look at the base, room levels, doorway transitions, and how the bathroom is used. That gives us a better foundation for choosing the right flooring system.

Preparation Based on the Existing Floor

We check the surface for uneven areas, old finishes, movement, or obvious damage. From there, we can decide whether the floor needs removal, repair, levelling, or another type of preparation before installation.

Clear Written Scope

You receive a written quote before work starts. It explains the agreed scope so you can see what relates to flooring, preparation, or any additional bathroom work.

Tiles or LVT Chosen for the Room

We do not treat one product as the answer for every bathroom. We look at comfort, maintenance, floor condition, underfloor heating, and the finish you prefer. Then we explain which options suit the room best.

FAQ

Common Questions

Still have questions? Our specialists are ready to help right now.

Do you provide bathroom flooring throughout Ammanford and nearby areas?

Yes. We provide bathroom flooring in Ammanford plus nearby communities such as Betws, Tycroes, Capel Hendre, Saron, Penygroes and Llandybie. If your postcode sits outside these areas, contact us to check coverage.

What is included in bathroom flooring installation in Ammanford?

The scope depends on the room. It may include lifting the old finish, inspecting the base, carrying out preparation, fitting tiles or LVT, cutting around fixtures or thresholds, then completing grout, trims or other finishing details. Your quotation will set out what is included.

Which is better for my bathroom: tiles or LVT?

Both can work well. Bathroom tiles in Ammanford suit homeowners who want a firm, durable finish that pairs well with underfloor heating. LVT flooring in Ammanford feels softer underfoot and is available in wood, stone or tile effects. The right choice depends on the room, the base and the finish you prefer.

Can luxury vinyl tile bathroom flooring be fitted over an existing floor?

Sometimes. The existing surface must be stable, suitable and capable of being prepared to the required standard. If the base is uneven or damaged, additional preparation or removal may be the better option. We inspect the floor before recommending a method.

How long does a bathroom floor installation in Ammanford take?

Timescales depend on room size, material and preparation. A straightforward LVT floor may be quicker than a tiled floor that needs levelling, adhesive curing or grouting. After the home visit, we can give you a realistic schedule for the agreed work.

Can you combine bathroom tile installation with underfloor heating?

Yes, where compatible systems and products are used. Tiles are a common choice over underfloor heating. Suitable LVT products may also work with approved systems. Planning both together helps avoid unnecessary changes later.
